How wonderful that Joe Lieberman is ready to expand the expanded war in Iraq to Iran. With no more evidence than any one else has, Rambo Joe is ready, willing and able to send someone else off to die in an expansion of the mad bloodshed that he so admires.

History being bunk, of course, Lieberman has forgotten the lesson of crazed escalation and wild expansion of war in Indochina when secret bombings and “incursions” cost thousands of lives for no good reason whatever.

Of course he was safe from that war, having avoided it, and has long forgotten the protests that so many made about broadening a conflict that was already long lost. It was the lunatic policy of Lieberman’s hero henry Kissinger that when the people of America said they wanted less war that it was just fine to give them more war, more casualties, more death, more destruction. For nothing.

Lieberman learned well. Alone in the world he is hawkish over a conflict that is bleeding dry our military and exhausting our nation and affronting the world. Everyone else is wrong and he is right. Lieberman learns well from his pals in the current White House as well.

Too bad so many innocents have to pay for his bad education.
